on which workout to do for tomorrow:
- 10 RFT:
OR
- AMRAP 15 min:
I feel like they’ll have an interchangeable result either way… leaning more towards the RFT though. But I’ve always liked AMRAPs… agh!
Regardless, warm-up will be:
Skill work: double-unders for 10 minutes

apparently, does not go well with uneven, grassy ground and a blazing hot noon-sun. Haha, me and Matt were dying and drenched by the 6th minute, so we stopped at 7 minutes. Overall, hard workout. I need to properly plan for the terrain next time. -__-
But it feels good to burn muscles again… I even got tan in the process!
Matt never did an EMOM before; completely different workout to shock the body. I hope he liked it, haha.
Session again on Thursday. :)
I’m going to work out with Matt; I just can’t workout by myself… I mean, I can, but I like the motivation of having another person with me. Weird?
I’ve been too busy to even train at Global lately, but now that Travis has summer school, I have nothing better to do for 5 hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays before work.
Gonna start training mornings with Matt, and training more consistently in Muay Thai and Jiu-Jitsu.
I just miss it, and summertime is the most I’ll be free during the year.
Tomorrow will go as follows, hopefully:
- TCC to go through the verification process for financial aid
- Meet Matt at my house by noon
- Hoping to squeeze in Muay Thai and Jiu-Jitsu, unless Maizel calls cuz she leaves tomorrow/Wednesday-ish
Our workout: 5/29/12
Warm-up —> TABATA full-range push-ups + full-range sit-ups
Main —> 15 minute run/sprint + 7 full-range burpees EMOM
I have a feeling I won’t be running anymore after the first 5 minutes; just catching up on burpees… HA!
Depending on our warm-up, I might downgrade to 5 EMOM. :p
